Fresh on the Screen: Immigrants Take the Prime Time Winter 2015
A partnership with Jeff Yang and NPR’s Code Switch to present interviews with Sara Ramirez, Aasif Mandvi, Nahnatchka Khan, and Yvonne Orji, four immigrant actors, writers, and producers, on the importance of telling diverse stories, how specificity creates universality, and how comedy can combat bigotry.
Rick’s Involvement: Produced the series of video interviews along with the Vilcek Foundation and NPR.
